Your Castle or Mine?

Castle
Check out previous comments ... if you dare!
Line Don't you wish we all could live in castles like this one ... or at least have the money to buy one! I know that I have had many dreams about what I expected out of life. The funny thing is that most of those dreams had to do with money, or obtaining things! Over the last few years, God has changed my perspective, and my situation. It has altered changed the way I see money, the poor, disadvantaged and the homeless in our society. I do not profess to have the solution to this issue, but I do believe that I have an insight into what how my heart needs to respond to others who find themselves in this situation.

Take a moment to take stock of how you respond to the homeless, and disadvantaged in our neighborhoods. I am not trying to be critical of how we think, but I am trying to get us to think differently in those situations. What must it like to be in a situation where everyone and everything tells us our identity and value comes from our salary, job position, and toys that we call our own! Think of how it would be for us, if these things were not obtainable!

For me, I have to respond somehow ... however God directs.
